The transition to parenthood is life changing, it opens you up sometimes in a way that can be very challenging, whilst also being incredibly rewarding and beautiful

My approach to care & support as a Lactation Consultant

I will always aim to work along side you where you feel really seen and heard, in a non-judgmental, compassionate, calm and empowering environment. I will always aim to provide a space of trust and respect where you feel your personal feeding challenges and successes are recognised, accepted and supported.

I will always aim to arm you with the skills and knowledge that allow you to feel safe and confident in caring for your baby. I will always encourage you to trust your instincts. I will always provide a plan of care that is personalised to you, your baby and your family’s needs and preferences. I will always aim to share evidence based, up to date information and education so you can feel fully informed and mould what fits for you and your family.

I am committed to using inclusive language and I will respect the pronoun you and your family identify with including your preference for breast, chest or body feeding throughout my verbal and written communications with you.

“The natural power of breastfeeding is one of the greatest wonders of the world. It is about real love. It is about caring and celebrating the wondrous joy of nurturing a new life…”

My Services

Kind Words

  • "Megan has been a wonderful lactation consultant who has saved my breastfeeding journey. She patiently listened to my issues regarding feeding and gave advice that yielded wonderful results. My son had failure to thrive and since seeing Megan she has helped my son have some excellent weight gains. Megan has also created a care plan for an upcoming international trip as well as for returning to work, helping me to feel incredibly supported in continuing to feed my son throughout changing circumstances. I would highly recommend Megan and her services for any lactation and feeding needs. Thanks so much!"

It is so important to feel cared for and you made me feel safe and protected and my family also felt the same and therefore worked less. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All the best & lots of Love."

  • "Megan has been instrumental in transforming our experience of BF into a positive one. With specific attention to how my baby and I work together and going beyond the call of duty to respond to questions, her timely guidance has turned around a difficult start. Our family are forever grateful".
